Fees and Billings
Most services are bulk billed if you have a Medicare Card or DVA card. Walk in appointments availability.
Overseas patients are required to pay a $80 fee which is refundable if you have private health insurance or travel insurance.
Telehealth consultations may also attract a fee if a valid Medicare Card or Veterans Card is not available.
A longer consultant may be required for some appointments, this can be arranged by calling reception on the morning of your intended appointment and explaining your circumstances to reception staff.
Home Visits
Home visits can be arranged with your regular GP in exceptional circumstances if discussed and agreed upon with your doctor.
After Hours
When you need a doctor and our surgery is closed please call 02 9797 7555 and speak to the after-hours doctor available (for current registered patients of the practice).

All electronic communication will be promptly answered according to date received. Our email address is AshfieldGP@hotmail.com
We will respond to your email enquiry within 5 business days. We do not book appointments via email, please call the practice. All correspondence are strictly confidential and no personal information will be disclosed via email correspondence.
Please note we do not open weekends and public holidays.

Rooty Hill Medicare Urgent Care Clinic at Rooty Hill Medical and Dental Centre supports hospitals throughout Sydney city.
The Medicare Urgent Care Clinic provides free, immediate, treatment and care for patients with or are experiencing non-life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Medicare Urgent Care Clinic is supported by highly skilled independent doctors and nurses, utilising excellent treatment and procedure room facilities.
The Medicare Urgent Care Clinic is open 7 days a week, from 8am to 8pm.
